Legacy Monthly POS & Paper Ledgers vs. Warung AI POS + Printable A4 Sheets
| Operational Aspect | ❌ Old Way (Paper Books / Monthly Subscriptions) | ✅ Warung AI POS + Printable A4 Sheet |
|---|---|---|
| POS Printer Hardware Compatibility & Setup Cost | Proprietary cloud POS terminals force you to buy locked-down $250–$400 receipt printers and custom hardware docks. | Pairs directly with any generic $18–$35 ESC/POS 58mm or 80mm Bluetooth/USB thermal printer from Android, iPhone, or laptop browsers. |
| Paperless WhatsApp E-Receipts vs. Thermal Paper Rolls | Printing paper slips for every small purchase burns through thermal rolls and fades quickly in hot wallets. | Instant 1-tap WhatsApp digital receipts deliver permanent itemized invoices with zero paper cost and direct customer engagement. |
| Offline Receipt Queuing & Counter Price Transparency | Cloud registers fail to generate receipts when internet drops, and shoppers constantly ask for individual item prices. | 100% offline receipt generation paired with a high-contrast Printable A4 Counter Price Catalog (/partners?paperOnly=1). |
| Custom Store Header/Footer & Multi-Device Licensing | Competing apps lock custom store headers, PDF invoice exports, and printer settings behind $29+/month subscriptions. | Included in the one-time $19.99 USD (Rp 49.000 IDR) Pro Lifetime Pass ($17.99 USD with promo code HEMAT10)—zero monthly fees. |
Paper Thermal Receipts vs. WhatsApp E-Receipts: When to Use Each
Walk-in cash buyers picking up quick snacks or beverages often prefer a fast verbal total or a quick 58mm paper slip. However, for larger household grocery baskets, B2B office supply orders, and neighborhood store credit (IOU) transactions, thermal paper quickly fades in heat and gets lost in pockets.
Warung POS lets your cashier choose per transaction: print to a portable 58mm Bluetooth thermal printer in 2 seconds, or dispatch a clean WhatsApp receipt directly to the buyer's phone number.
- •Compatible with Budget Hardware: Works with generic 58mm/80mm Bluetooth & USB thermal printers—no overpriced proprietary hardware lock-in.
- •Zero Paper Cost via WhatsApp: Send itemized store name, date, item quantities, total paid, and remaining credit tab balance via WhatsApp.
- •Offline-Ready Checkout: Complete sales and queue receipts even when store Wi-Fi is temporarily down.
One-Time $19.99 USD (Rp 49.000 IDR) Lifetime Licensing
Most POS vendors lock receipt customization, report exports, and multi-device syncing behind monthly subscriptions. With Warung, the Free Tier gives you full offline POS and A4 printable sheets, while the Pro Lifetime Pass unlocks cloud sync, thermal/PDF exports, and automated WhatsApp billing for a single $19.99 USD (Rp 49.000 IDR) payment.
